Roger microphones and receivers are the key components of an adaptive remote microphone system. This session educates attendees about two new receivers and one new microphone that help children with hearing loss and normal hearing in educational environments.

This presentation will review the key features of the paradise platform and relate the features to benefits for individuals with severe to profound hearing loss.

Real ear measures represent the best practice tool for ensuring that hearing aids are programmed optimally for speech understanding. Techniques to ensure the Phonak Paradise are programmed to match target will be reviewed.

Phonak Paradise offers many benefits for individuals with hearing loss that can be actively demonstrated. Techniques to counsel patients about new features and expected benefits will be discussed in great detail.

Phonak Paradise is released along with a new version of Target 7.0 fitting software. While much of the fitting software remains the consistent with the previous version, several new hearing performance features, as well as new user control functionality will be reviewed. The software will be discussed in detail to provide confidence when programming Phonak Paradise and counseling patients about the expected benefits.
