Phonak Paradise provides new connectivity options that will benefit individuals with hearing loss by improving media sound quality, improving the signal to noise ratio by connecting to Roger and PartnerMic and offering personalization tools through the remote control and myPhonak App. These options will be discussed in detail to provide confidence when talking to patients about operational functions and the benefits that can be expected.

Phonak Paradise provides new features and benefits to individuals with hearing loss through the introduction of the new Prism chip. The new features include sound quality improvements to Phonak’s proprietary fitting rule, performance enhancements for activity based beamforming, the enhancement of soft speech and dynamic noise cancellation. Additionally, the legacy of innovation continues with enhanced Bluetooth connectivity options, app enhancements and new fitting opportunities.

Phonak changed the game in hearing aid technology and connectivity when Audeo Marvel was launched in October 2018. Rounding out the portfolio offering with Marvel 2.0, Bolero M and Sky M, Phonak has continued to push the limits in the hearing aid technology it offers to all. Now Phonak is reloading connectivity and offering the only custom, in-the-ear hearing aid with direct connectivity and direct access to Roger with Virto M. This course will review the new additions to the Marvel portfolio as well as new technology updates.

With the Phonak Marvel platform Phonak introduced a suite of eSolutions designed to support hearing healthcare providers as they look towards the future of eAudiology. Phonak eSolutions offer various tools for hearing healthcare providers to differentiate their practice, demonstrate added value in their clinical services, and empower their patients to take a more active role in their hearing healthcare journey. This course will review the digital transformation and eAudiology as well as the Phonak eSolution suite of tools currently available with Phonak Marvel.

The way people learn about their health care options and how they access that care is changing. Participants will learn ways to show empathy and encourage social support by incorporating motivational interviewing, family-centered care, and Phonak technology and eSolutions to create a management plan that is tailored to each individual patient’s needs.

Phonak Target is the world’s favorite fitting software. Easy to use and navigate, Phonak Target 6.2 includes support Phonak hearing aids, including the newest additions of Virto Marvel and Naida Marvel. Discover how to optimize your patient’s hearing experience and performance in every hearing environment while ensuring their hearing aid blends into their everyday life. In this course we will review different case examples that may be similar to what you hear every day, and look at the ins and outs of Phonak Target Software to review making adjustments to meet patient needs.

This course will provide the information necessary to understand the technology that Phonak uses to offer better understanding of speech in noise for your patients. Features and benefits of Phonak traditional hearing instruments and Roger technology will be discussed including the Speech in Loud Noise Program, RogerDirect as well as the new Roger iN microphones available with Phonak Marvel.

This course will explore selection, fitting, and verification processes for Phonak hearing instruments with SoundRecover 2 non-linear frequency compression system. Focus will be on explaining the details of the new features of SoundReceover 2 and the rationale behind choosing to implement a frequency lowering technology. Attendees will be presented with fitting parameters in Phonak Target programming software and the appropriate use of frequency lowering, using real-ear verification and validation methods.

Hearing well and being well is a multi-dimensional topic – research in this area has been gaining momentum. This course will discuss the current research and findings in the areas of cognition, listening effort and cognitive load, well-being, emotion and social aspects of health and hearing.
