This course will review the evidence supporting the exceptional sound quality and performance of Marvel as well as discuss new evidence supporting AutoSense OS and RogerDirect.

eSolutions are digital solutions created by Phonak that can seamlessly support HCPs and patients during the hearing healthcare journey from the hearing assessment to the adjustments of the hearing aids. eSolutions tools can be seamlessly integrated into the HCPs current service delivery and clients hearing journey. Most importantly, patients have more freedom and flexibility which may result in a more satisfactory hearing experience. This course will review the new eSolutions suite from Phonak with the new Phonak Marvel 2.0.

The Audeo Marvel family has gone beyond expectations, delivering love at first sound to patients who wear it and universal connectivity for the audiologists who fit it. With Marvel 2.0, Phonak is introducing even more hearing performance, more connectivity and apps, and more choice. This course will review the new additions to the Marvel portfolio as well as new technology updates.

This course will present an overview of the newest product updates and additions to the Lyric™ product offering. New product improvements as well as improved clinical efficiency and workflow improvements in Phonak Target™ software will be discussed. Participants will learn about the expanded fitting range and product improvements in the new Lyric3 product allowing more patients to benefit from extended wear, Lyric technology.

Lyric is an FDA-approved hearing aid for individuals with mild to moderately-severe hearing loss. Since it is worn 24 hours per day for months at a time, Lyric needs to fulfill various requirements with regard to biocompatibility and pressure applied to the skin of the ear canal, as well as environmental properties such as breathability and moisture transport, in order to maintain healthy ear canals. Factors which appear to be associated with poorer ear health are smaller Lyric devices, and poor general overall health. This course will discuss the proper ear canal management as well as factors which may contribute to overall Lyric ear health outcomes and success.

Telemedicine is a significant and rapidly growing segment of healthcare. In fact over half of all hospitals in the United States currently offer some form of telemedicine. This talk will explore the opportunities and growing appetite for applying telehealth in Audiology. A vision will be illustrated for the future of audiology care and how technology can help us to engage with new patients, improve the ease with which hearing care is accessed, and empower people to achieve better hearing-related outcomes. Solutions throughout the hearing healthcare continuum from hearing screening to downstream hearing aid support will be described. Finally we will share the outcomes of internal and external research. This data will include several perspectives from patient focus groups, to clinician’s perceptions and feedback, to hearing outcomes and performance data.

This course will review the results from pilot studies on user preferences and interactions with Phonak's smartphone fine tuning app.

The new Phonak Marvel platform has several key features specifically designed for first-time hearing aid users. A study at the Phonak Audiology Research Center investigated sound quality ratings of new hearing aid users for Phonak Marvel compared to two other devices, and found preference for the Phonak Marvel device.

This course will discuss Phonak TargetMatch - an easy to use, 3 step system which directly integrates clinical measurement equipment to Phonak fitting software. It will discuss the current clinical REM application and limitations, and participants will learn the benefits of adding TargetMatch into their daily hearing aid fittings. The effective integration of real ear measurement capabilities with a single piece of equipment will lead to a more successful hearing aid fitting and higher satisfaction rate with hearing aid outcomes.
