From the moment we inform families of their child’s hearing loss, there is much to discuss and understand. However, for many reasons, families may not bring up their questions or concerns. Using a tool like the CHL QPL involves far more than providing surface answers to family questions and concerns. Easy-to-apply listening and counseling skills are needed to understand what a particular question means to a particular family, and whether it is indirectly related to other, more complicated concerns.

Various Phonak demonstration tools built into Phonak Target software, as well as protocols developed with clinical experts, will be reviewed.

This course will review the science behind the new pre-calculation for first time users as investigated by the Phonak Audiology Research Center (PARC) as well as take a look at the new dual-path processing of vent loss compensation enabling a clear rich sound while streaming.

With the Phonak Marvel platform, Phonak introduced a suite of eSolutions designed to support hearing healthcare providers as they look towards the future of eAudiology. This course will review the digital transformation and eAudiology as well as the Phonak eSolution suite of tools currently available with Phonak Audeo Marvel.
