The program is designed with the clinician in mind to present relevant, timely topics to further their analysis of technology and patient options offered by ReSound and to address patient needs in this rapidly advancing technological era. ReSound has teamed up with hearX to combine four steps into one automated flow for patients utilizing a tablet with calibrated headsets. Patients can be given the items curbside or can have it delivered to their home. With ReSound Assist Live, you can help guide them through the process in less than 10 minutes, collecting all the data you need for an assessment of their hearing loss.

The COVID-19 health crisis has dramatically impacted the hearing healthcare industry’s ability to conduct business as usual. Hearing care professionals, however, are rising to the occasion and finding new and innovative ways to care for patients through curbside service and teleaudiology. At times like this, social isolation can have lasting, damaging effects on hard of hearing people. Hearing, therefore, can become an essential part of staying connected to the outside world. This class will show hearing care professionals how they may continue to provide high quality patient care while practicing social distancing. Participants will learn how to safely and accurately screen for hearing loss and remotely fit hearing devices through in situ audiometry and ReSound Assist Live (Live Assistance).

This course will introduce the new ReSound ENZO Q super power hearing aids, which provide the power you need for more severe hearing losses along with the benefits of the new ReSound chip. We will also be discussing how ReSound ENZO Q is supported by the Smart Hearing Alliance for bimodal fittings with Cochlear products.

The ReSound LiNX Quattro family has been extended to include wireless customs with telecoils, a mini RIE 61 with a size 312 battery, a standard RIE 62 with a telecoil and DAI, a mini BTE with a telecoil, and standard and power BTEs with telecoils and DAI functionality. The ReSound LiNX Quattro extension provides more solutions to meet all the needs of your patients with a complete family of hearing instruments that offer the latest in functionality and the best in sound quality.

Learn how ReSound’s new Live Assistance feature enhances the remote fine tuning experience for both the hearing aid user and the audiologist. The details of the system and end user benefits will be reviewed.

With the proliferation of hearing aids that can directly connect with smartphones it is important for professionals working with hearing aids to stay up to date on smartphone technology and understand how smartphones can be effectively utilized in the office. This talk will cover differences between different smartphone platforms (iOS, Android) as well as real-world examples of how smartphone settings can be changed to benefit hearing aid users will be provided throughout the presentation.
