Signal processing in hearing aids must be able to give the user benefits in a broad range of these complex environments. In this presentation, recorded waveforms from a range of different sound situations through several different advanced technology hearing aids will be presented, along with a discussion on how well the design and function of the various approaches handle different types of listening environments.
